I’m glad you asked 😉

Personal development

For players who are serious about improving, the summer is meant for you to improve your game as much as possible before the next season. If your teammates come along, that’s great, but the focus should be personal development—it doesn’t matter if you are alone or with a group, so long as you are working to improve your game.

Learning from different coaches

At camps, you can learn different things and perspectives from coaches other than your usual team coach. Learning how to function within different coaching styles helps create well-rounded players, and you have opportunities to pick up new details and methods to help you improve.

Immersing yourself in basketball

For players who want to maximize their potential, camps are a great opportunity to limit distractions and fully focus on the sport they love. When you spend every day for an entire week dedicated to improving, it’s even easier to see results than through regular trainings. If you work hard it is impossible not to improve.

It’s FUN

Camp is a cool opportunity to be around players from across the club, and meet/interact with other kids and coaches you might not always see in your normal weekly routine in Stockholm. You’ll also have chances to compete against others, spend time in some new surroundings, and become a better player for next season!
